Unlike most note-taking apps, Skitch allows you to markup images. With it, you can make annotations on photos, point out things on maps, annotate PDFs, or even draw from scratch. It's very similar to Snapchat's scribbles, but more functional. Evernote users can sync their Skitch documents with their Evernote notebooks, and you can use it as a standalone app. Although the app has been around for a while, it recently received an updated design.
Annotation tools in Skitch are intuitive and work well. The program offers different tools for editing images, such as cropping, resizing, and texting. It automatically preserves the aspect ratio of the original image. After selecting the image, simply draw an outline around it and add drag points at the corners. Once you've defined the cropped area, hit "Apply" to apply the changes. It will then automatically store the file.
Using Skitch is easy. You don't need a manual or a long tour to get started. To start editing, simply click "Add annotations" and select "Evernote." You can now add and edit annotations on any image. And you can always edit your annotations later if you want. There's no need to worry about removing the software, because the app is so user-friendly. Just log in to your account to continue using Skitch!
